ok so you know, on "Mafia Wars," you know how you can buy the weapons for "mafia money" in their store, like chain guns, baseball bats, bulletproof vests, armored sedans, etc….. why do you have to??? when you fight other mafias, you just use your "loot." so… what are those used for?

I am trying to do a job in Cuba in Mafia Wars on Facebook. The job requires me to have 2 commercial helicopters, which I have plenty of pesos for but it tells me "You are not a high enough level to purchase this item." What level do I have to be to be able to purchase these helicopters, and why would I be able to do the job if I can’t buy the equipment needed to complete it?

any tips how i can last for an hour on the hitlist in mafia wars

I’m playing the version on tagged.com, which isn’t quite as full-featured as the Facebook version.
I do a lot of fighting, but I seldom rob or attack hitlisted members because the reward doesn’t justify the risk.

My level is 1172 and I have 2103 members in my mafia.
I have 506 attack, 507 defense, 279 health, 5077 energy and 111 stamina.
I have over 500 of each of the following:

Cane Knife
Gaff Hook
TNT
Guerrilla Squad
Private Jet
HU-9 Helicopter

I also have 501 Bazookas, 501 Rebel Snipers and 501 Commercial Helicopters, because I read somewhere that Cuban weapons may be counted towards fights in Cuba. Are there any other weapons/armor/vehicles I need to buy in Cuba?

Is it important for me to acquire 500 of other items such as Falsified Documents, Federal Agents, Camouflage Body Armor, Si-14 Cargo Planes and Armored Limousines? Or is my mafia already as strong as it’s ever going to be?

Where should I concentrate my future efforts? Do I need to keep acquiring attack and defense points, or just load up on as much cash and property as possible?
