I have just started playing the myspace mafia wars and I was wondering about the weapons?

If I have 1000 pistols, is that better than just one pistol? I guess I’m wondering if I can keep boosting my attack and defence with each gun or item I own.

Each member of your mob can only equip themselves with one weapon, so if your mob is say 100, then 1000 guns would be overkill since 900 won’t be used.
You would be better off attack & defense-wise to upgrade to some weapons with better offense & defense strengths as to keep all mob members equipped.
